City of Waveland celebrates groundbreaking of $16 million hotel project
SUMMARY: The Waveland Hospitality LLC has commenced a $16 million hotel project in Waveland, marking the city’s first hotel development in over 20 years. The dual-brand hotel will feature 55 rooms for short-term stays under the Fairfield brand and 57 extended-stay rooms with kitchens under the Town Place Suites brand. Completion is expected in 18 to 24 months. This development, part of the city’s broader growth and expansion along Highway 90, follows the nearing completion of an Express Oil Change. Other businesses like Harbor Freight and McAlister’s are also set to invest in Waveland, further boosting local development.

7/1 Sam’s “Warm and Humid” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Temperatures are expected to rise to mid-90s by Independence Day, with rain chances low Friday through Saturday before increasing again early next week.
