Biloxi VA hosts 9th annual PCC Walk-a-thon

SUMMARY: The 9th Annual P-C-C Walk-A-Thon was held today, bringing together veterans, their family members, friends, and healthcare workers. The event, hosted by the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, featured various activities such as yoga and tai chi. Attendees were invited to stay and interact with exhibitors providing resources, therapy exercises, food trucks, and flu shots. Mary Nelson, from the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, expressed gratitude for the event's success over the years and the support it provides to veterans. Participants were encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness and purple for domestic violence awareness.

Following the walk, all attendees were invited to hang around for exhibitors providing resources, a therapy exercise, a food truck, flu shots and more.
