Annual meeting/thank you banquet held in Hattiesburg
SUMMARY: The United Way of Southeast Mississippi had a successful fundraising year, raising $1.2 million. They recently hosted a thank you banquet for donors and honored longtime supporters like Marshall Ly. New United Way Board chair Jerry Deata expressed optimism for the upcoming year and emphasized the importance of investing in the community. The organization currently works with 13 partner agencies to support those in need. In addition, Pvis Middle School is hosting parent literacy nights to promote reading skills. The community is encouraged to continue supporting United Way and making a difference in Southeast Mississippi.
