Alleged gunman went to Biloxi hospital after Ocean Springs mass shooting, police say
SUMMARY: Fa’Darius Davon Williams has been arrested as the alleged gunman in a shooting at The Scratch Kitchen bar in Ocean Springs on May 5, which resulted in the death of 19-year-old Chayse Harmon. Williams is also facing charges for the aggravated assault of six others injured in the mass shooting at a Cinco de Mayo party. The investigation is ongoing, with police attempting to verify Williams’ affiliation with either the Wicked street gang or Guap Gang Empire, two gangs involved in gun and drug sales across the Mississippi Coast. Williams has a criminal history of aggravated assault and possession of marijuana and stolen firearms.

SUMMARY: A fatal shooting occurred in Gulfport on April 28, 2025, when suspects Paul Ravin Martin Jr. and Kevin Eugene James opened fire on individuals in the Holly Circle area. Three victims were injured, and 16-year-old Cobi Earnest later died from gunshot wounds. Martin, 23, was arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder, Shooting into a Dwelling, and three counts of Aggravated Assault. He was out on bond for a previous drive-by shooting.
