Alabama woman had ‘highly unusual’ search history before her disappearance, police say
SUMMARY: Carlee Russell, the Alabama woman who disappeared and then returned home, had a series of “highly unusual” search history on her phone prior to her disappearance, according to the Hoover Police Chief. The searches included topics such as how to take money from a register without being caught and the movie “Taken” about an abduction. Russell's wig and cell phone were found near her car, however, her purse and Apple Watch were still inside. Police have not found any evidence of a missing child walking along the interstate, as Russell had reported. The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing.
