SUMMARY: Former NFL player Michael Oher, whose story inspired the “The Blind Side,” has asked a Tennessee probate court to end the conservatorship that was put in place by the Memphis who took him in. Oher accuses the couple, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, of enriching themselves at his expense and falsely representing themselves as his adoptive . Oher, now 37, also seeks a full accounting of assets, as his life story made millions of dollars but he claims to have received nothing. The Tuohy's lawyers argue that they set up the conservatorship to Oher with everyday tasks and to satisfy NCAA concerns when he played college football. However, legal experts question the judge's approval of the conservatorship, as it was typically used for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions. Oher's case has raised concerns about the conservatorship and has led to scrutiny of the Tuohys.
