CPD partners with Slim Chickens to raise money for good cause
SUMMARY: The Columbus Police Department in Mississippi is partnering with Slim Chickens to raise money for CPD Lieutenant Amanda Burrell's battle against cancer. 10% of the proceeds from all menu items purchased will go towards supporting her fight. Burrell credits a routine health screening for saving her life, and encourages others to get yearly screenings. The fundraising event will continue until the store closes, so there is still time to show your support. To participate, simply choose an item from the menu and let the cashier know you want to contribute to the fundraiser. Follow WCBI News for updates and more information.
