Brooksville mayor locked out of City Hall
SUMMARY: The situation between the Mayor of Brooksville and the Aldermen is escalating. The mayor claims he was locked out of City Hall because the council changed the locks without informing him. Additionally, the town's water meters haven't been read in over a month, leading to billing issues. Brooksville also lacks a city clerk, and a special meeting called by the mayor to discuss hiring one saw no attendance. The mayor emphasized the need for cooperation among council members to serve their citizens effectively. A scheduled meeting next Tuesday aims to address these concerns and find a path forward.
