Pickens Co. College, Career center aims to help students succeed

SUMMARY: The Pickens County College and Career Center Foundation aims to face the challenges of continuing their education and joining the workforce. They scholarships for dual enrollment courses in various fields such as and industrial maintenance. The goal is for all students to scholarships, allowing them to high school with an associate's degree and relevant experience. This initiative not only the students by providing opportunities, but also addresses a future workforce shortage in the community. The foundation awarded $56,000 in scholarships and recipients for the upcoming year will be announced in August.
