DOJ working with JPD, coroner on death notification

SUMMARY: The federal government is assisting Jackson police and the Hinds County Coroner's Office in notifying next of kin after three families learned their loved ones were buried in a pauper's cemetery without being notified. The Hinds County Coroner's Office will also receive policy recommendations and training for locating next of kin.
