New dawn on horizon for Sunset Subdivision
SUMMARY: The Sunset community in Oktibbeha County has experienced an increase in criminal activity, including murder, in recent years. Long-time resident Eric Young believes that most perpetrators are not from the neighborhood and that Sunset is not as bad as it is portrayed. Oktibbeha County Sheriff Shank Phelps agrees and urges residents to come forward with information to help solve crimes without fear of retaliation. While Young disagrees with the sheriff's approach, Phelps emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in addressing gun violence. Overall, there is a call for unity and honesty within the Sunset community to combat crime effectively.
