Four Yazoo County correctional officers arrested in recent escape
SUMMARY: Four correctional officers in Yazoo County, Mississippi were arrested for their involvement in recent jail escapes. The officers, three men and one woman, were charged with conspiracy and accessory to committing a crime. A reward is being offered for the arrest of Glen Bassett, who escaped from the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility. Four other inmates have been captured. The Sheriff's Office noticed an inmate running back into the facility and discovered that five inmates were missing. An unidentified inmate was captured on Sunday, while three others were captured on Monday.

The victim was unharmed, and Wendell Lambert was identified as the suspect and arrested. Lambert is charged with burglary of an Occupied Dwelling and Armed Robbery, with additional charges pending.
