18-wheeler fire quickly extinguished by Tupelo Fire Department
SUMMARY: An 18-wheeler caught on fire at the Pepsi Plant in Tupelo around 7:30 PM, near a Taco Bell off South Gloucester Street. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the plant was not damaged, although the truck was heavily affected. Firefighters believe the fire may have been caused by a faulty battery or wiring. Five crews responded to the scene, and the smoke from the fire was visible from the fire station. Despite the potential danger, no one was harmed in the incident.
