The event was packed with new grads and their loved ones at the Davis Event Center. Some graduates shared their feelings of accomplishment and gratitude towards their teachers and peers. State House speaker Jason White also congratulated the graduates. Overall, it was a day of celebration and pride for all the college graduates.

Students from the Itawamba Community College graduated on Friday.

SUMMARY: Over 200 third graders from New Albany Elementary and East Union Attendance Center in Union County went on a downtown tour to visit local businesses and learn about different occupations. The annual school field trip gave students the opportunity to understand the roles that businesses play in their community. The tour allowed the students to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences and explore the diverse career opportunities available in their community.
