Alzheimer's Association holds fundraiser in Ridgeland

SUMMARY: A fundraiser was held to fight Alzheimer's disease on the longest day of the year, with many participating in activities they love to honor loved ones affected by the disease. Funds raised went to the Alzheimer's Association to care, research, and support efforts in the Metro- area. Mike Rowe, Community Outreach Chair, emphasized the importance of shining a light on Alzheimer's to bring awareness and combat the darkness of the disease. Several local collaborated to raise funds and support those affected by Alzheimer's in the community.
