Two adults arrested in connection to death of Tupelo 13-year-old

SUMMARY: Two men have been arrested on second-degree murder and aggravated assault charges in northeast Mississippi after the death of 13-year-old Orelius Boyd and the injury of a second juvenile. Reginald Thomas, 22, and Devontae Sharkey, 23, were taken into custody following a shooting incident in Tupelo. The initial response to the shots fired was around noon, with evidence collected and a juvenile male treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Later, Boyd was found dead and is believed to have been a victim of the same shooting. No further suspects are being sought, and the Tupelo Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
