SUMMARY: Today started off chilly but warmed up to the mid-50s during the day, with temperatures dropping again in the evening. Sunset was picturesque, but temperatures were in the low 50s and would drop to the 30s by 9:00 p.m. Tonight and Monday morning could see freezing temperatures, so people should protect their pets, pipes, and plants. However, Monday will warm up to the upper 50s and possibly lower 60s. By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 60s and even reach the 70s. A flood warning was issued for Choctaw County, Alabama, near the Tom Bigby Waterway. The next seven days show a slight temperature drop on Friday but mostly sunny weather.
