There are potential threats for flooding in rivers and creeks. Efforts are being made to pass a bill to raise the minimum age for wearing a life jacket to 18. Chancellor also advises letting someone know where you are if you plan to be near water.

Water levels in rivers and creeks are beginning to rise again after the state experienced a record-long drought last year.

Overnight lane closure in Madison County
