Friend remembers life of Jackson DJ killed in crossfire
SUMMARY: Local deejay, Anthony Davis, also known as ‘DJ Choo', was killed in a drive-by shooting in Jackson. His friend Lauren Galloway, describes him as a man with a bright future and a go-getter mentality. The shooting took place near North State Street and Cedars of Lebanon Drive in Jackson. Galloway mourns the loss of her friend, who had just celebrated his 23rd birthday. She urges for an end to senseless acts of violence and calls for change in the city. Galloway received a text from Davis just before his death, leaving her in disbelief and mourning the loss of a loved one.
