It is important to stay weather-aware and never enter flooded waters in a vehicle or on foot. Use hazard lights if driving in heavy rain or pull over to higher ground until the rain lightens up. Many deaths occur in cars swept downstream during flooding. In Canton, traffic was backed up due to a crash on I-55, and an 18-wheeler overturned on Adkin Blvd and Colonia Drive. Stay safe and be cautious when driving in heavy rain.
