LIVE: Cannabis dispensaries unable to sell majority of their supplies
SUMMARY: The Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers are investigating many cannabis dispensaries that cannot sell the majority of their supplies due to a state health department quarantine. The largest tester of medical cannabis supplies in the state, Rapid Analytics, has had its products pulled from the shelves, affecting many dispensaries. The state department of health has not provided a lot of information, but no illnesses have been reported. Some dispensaries have not even opened their doors due to the quarantine of their supplies. The company is now trying to retest their products with a different company, raising concerns for the future of medical cannabis in the state.
