God’s House hosts Christmas Cruise-in & Toy Drive
SUMMARY: The Meridian Fire Department responded to a scene at West Philadelphia Baptist Church for their fifth annual Christmas cruise-in toy drive. The theme of the event was “Bring a Toy, Bless a Child.” Attendees were able to fellowship with each other, interact with Santa, and donate a toy. The community also showed off their unique rides while spreading Christmas cheer. Last year, the event brought smiles to over 400 children by assisting 9 different local organizations. The event is aimed at allowing the community to come out and help bless children who may not receive toys at Christmas. It is a fun, family event that serves breakfast and aims to make it enjoyable for all attendees.
