Stokes wants more done for Jackson water bill issues
SUMMARY: Councilman Kenneth Stokes is advocating for an appeal process for residents to dispute high water bills in Jackson. He wants the call center brought back to Jackson and for residents to have a location in Hinds County to address their concerns. Many residents and businesses have received large water bills and feel that they have no way to appeal or dispute them. Stokes and Pastor P.J. Williams are calling for justice and a fair appeal process for citizens of Jackson. This matter will be addressed at the next City Council meeting. This is 100 words.
