Monroe County man sentenced to 20 years
SUMMARY: James Eric Crisp has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the manslaughter of Roger Taylor. Taylor had been reported missing in early 2019, and his truck was found a few days later. Crisp confessed to killing Taylor during an altercation at his home in Gattman. He had been released on bond under the supervision of God's House of Hope recovery center until a plea deal could be reached. The Taylor family was consulted about the plea deal before it was made. Crisp pled guilty to the charge and will serve his sentence.
