Love it or hate it, feelings run high over candy corn come Halloween

Despite the disagreement, Brach's, the market leader in candy corn, produces around 30 million pounds of the product each fall, around 85% of all sales in the market. Candy corn has had a notable cultural impact, featuring prominently in fashion and home decor trends. Brach's has experimented with flavors, most notably the Turkey Dinner mix with kernels flavored like traditional Thanksgiving dishes, but it was not well received and won't be continued.

SUMMARY: Ten Army and three Air Force cadets from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) ROTC were commissioned as Second Lieutenants. The Army ceremony at Camp Shelby featured Major General Janson D. Boyles, while the Air Force ceremony on campus featured Brigadier General Mary-Kathryn Haddad. LTC Juan J. Ortiz praised the Army cadets for their leadership, and Lt. Col. Sheena Puleali'i commended the Air Force cadets for their commitment. Distinguished Military Graduate 2LT Jeremiah J. Parker expressed pride in his training and future goals. Commissioned cadets include 2LT Miruna Avram, 2LT Braxton Bailey, 2LT Jada Fairley, among others.
