Water main break, natural gas line hit in Oxford leads to road closure

SUMMARY: This morning, a large main was hit on Avenue in Oxford, close to Mechanics Bank and a natural gas line. As a result, the eastbound lanes of Jackson Avenue will be closed for repairs. Eastbound traffic will have to use the center turn lane to travel east. Additionally, there was also a reported hit on Brandywine in Brittany Woods later in the day. Commuters are advised to avoid these .

A water main break and a natural gas line that was hit in Oxford are leading to some temporary road closures.
