South Mississippi first responders, law enforcement remember 9/11

She organized appreciation lunches for nearly eight hundred first responders on the anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks. The event, organized by the faith-based organization Women of Wisdom, recognizes the brave community of men and women who responded to the attacks. Stacy Spradlin, event committee co-chair, emphasized the importance of never forgetting what happened on this day and everyone that lost their lives, including the first responders that responded to ground zero. The event spans across seventy-six stations throughout Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties.
