Community feeding held in Moss Point in celebration of Labor Day
SUMMARY: The Moss Point community came together at the Riverfront Community Center on Denny Street to celebrate Labor Day. The First Response Annual Feeding, which was last held in 2019 due to COVID, took place yesterday. The event, coordinated by Sherman Kyse, served cooked wild hogs, ribs, pork butts, and more to the community until 2 p.m. Kyse stated that they felt the need to continue something that a lady in the neighborhood had started years ago. The event was well-attended, with people gathering at her house every Labor Day.
The First Response Community Feeding drew quite a crowd in Moss Point Monday.
