First dog park now open in West Point

SUMMARY: Point, a local , has opened its first ever dog park, thanks to the efforts of a neighborhood group. The park, located on Wood Street, features accessible concrete paths, seating , pet drinking fountains, and more. The members of the community saw a need for a dog park, as many pet owners had to walk their dogs on leashes on hot sidewalks. The received from individuals, businesses, and local authorities, and the park officially opened on Saturday. Pet owners in West Point can now enjoy a dedicated to let their dogs play and socialize.
