VIDEO: Charles Kennedy captured after being on the run for three weeks
SUMMARY: A man who had been on the run for nearly two months was found hiding under a bed at his mother’s house in Prentiss County. Charles Kennedy, the fugitive, now faces charges of felony fleeing and aggravated domestic violence. Two women, Jennifer Kennedy and Jessica Borden, were also arrested on charges of obstruction and hindering prosecution. Sheriff Randy Toler credited the element of surprise for capturing Charles Kennedy, who had previously managed to outrun law enforcement. Kennedy’s mother and girlfriend are currently being held without bond.

Houston Career and Technology Education Center receives $50,000 check
SUMMARY: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Houston Career and Technology Education Center for renovations to its engineering lab. The funds will be used to upgrade air conditioning units and the roof, enhancing student comfort and learning conditions.
