SUMMARY: This weekend, there will be an increase in storm activity in Columbus, Mississippi. Showers and storms will weaken after sunset tonight, but more storms are expected on Saturday and Sunday. Some of these storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts. Temperatures will remain hot and humid, with highs near 90°. Next week, the weather will be calmer on Monday and Tuesday, with isolated storms in the afternoon. However, starting Wednesday, pop-up storms will become more common.
