Dangerous intersection has law enforcement looking for solutions

SUMMARY: A serious in Clay County, Mississippi has left a woman in critical and has prompted enforcement to consider making an intersection safer. The accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 50 East and Barton Ferry and Herman Shirley Roads, a known hotspot for speeding. The terrain and high traffic volume in the area contribute to poor visibility. The Clay County Sheriff's Office receives frequent calls about reckless driving at this intersection, and the Sheriff recommends pulling off the road if confronted with an impatient driver to ensure safety. There is no word yet on any updates to the intersection.
