Tupelo city leaders name 20-year veteran to be new interim Fire Chief

SUMMARY: Deputy Fire Chief Brad Robinson has been promoted to Interim Chief of the Tupelo Fire Department in Mississippi as the city searches for a new permanent Chief. Robinson has been a firefighter for over 23 years and was promoted to Deputy Chief of Operations last year. He will take over from Chief Kelly Elliott, who has been selected as the Executive Director of the Mississippi State Fire Academy. Robinson's appointment comes after Mayor Todd Jordan made the announcement. The search for a permanent Chief is still ongoing.
