Tupelo city leaders name 20-year veteran to be new interim Fire Chief

SUMMARY: Deputy Fire Chief Brad Robinson has been promoted to Interim Chief of the in Mississippi as the searches for a new permanent Chief. Robinson has been a firefighter for over 23 years and was promoted to Deputy Chief of Operations last year. He will take over from Chief Elliott, who has been selected as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Fire Academy. Robinson's appointment after Todd Jordan made the announcement. Former Mississippi school financial secretary pleads guilty to embezzlement
