Frustration rises as 30K Entergy customers still without power

Officials to break ground on Amazon Web Services Monday morning
SUMMARY: Officials will gather in Madison County for a groundbreaking ceremony for Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Monday. AWS is investing over $10 billion into two hyperscale data centers in Mississippi, one at the Madison County Mega Site and another near Tougaloo College. Gov. Lawmakers appropriated $44 million for infrastructure and loaned $215.1 million to ensure project completion within five to seven years. The groundbreaking event is scheduled for 9 a.m. at 108 Walker Drive in Canton.

Gov. Reeves declares Emergency Medical Services Week in Mississippi
