Mississippi passed a $104M lifeline program for hospitals. One CEO says it won’t help.
As hospitals across Mississippi continue to face possible closure, state lawmakers recently passed legislation allocating $104 million in lifeline money to those struggling. However, one hospital CEO is claiming that the legislation, as passed, would do nothing to help his hospital.

Two wanted for robbing Jackson business on Ellis Avenue

New Horizon Church plans to relocate to Wingfield High
SUMMARY: New Horizon Church International in Jackson, MS is relocating after being on Ellis Avenue since 2009. Bishop Ronnie Crudup made the decision to sell the shopping center and purchase Wingfield High School when Jackson Public Schools consolidates. The church plans to sell to a commercial retailer to boost the community economically. They have provided services and programs for the area and hope to improve the new space to benefit the community. The decision to relocate came from a divine feeling that their time at the current location is up. They aim to elevate the neighborhood and property values with the new venture.
