Mississippi Stories: Hagan Walker and Anna Barker

On this episode of , Editor-at-Large Marshall Ramsey catches up with entrepreneurs Hagan Walker and Anna Barker. A year ago, Ramsey sat down with Walker and Barker, the of the Starkville-based company Glo, to discuss their company, entrepreneurialism, how their products went from a way to liven up parties to sooth autistic at bath time and their newly renovated historic corporate headquarters.

This time, they share how the disruption in the Global Supply Chain nearly prevented them from products for Christmas. But in a story that is almost like an action thriller, Walker and Barker tracked down their shipment and helped navigate all the obstacles thrown up by the new normal. It's a story of grit, resilience and a touch of Mississippi charm. Their story was recently in the March 31, 2022 edition of The New York Times in a story by Peter S. Goodman.
