$8 million to help fund Clinton development project near Mississippi College
SUMMARY: An additional $8 million in state funding has been allocated to help develop a mixed-use retail and living space near Mississippi College in the City of Clinton. The funding, provided by the State of Mississippi, will be used for infrastructure development on the property. The project aims to create a vibrant and walkable space connected to the MC campus, and is part of a partnership between the university, the City of Clinton, and local developers. Mississippi College President Blake Thompson believes the project will enhance the reputation of the university and the city, making Clinton one of the best college towns.
