Canton Flea Market attracts hundreds of vendors
SUMMARY: Canton Square was bustling with activity during the Canton Flea Market, which returned for its second event of the year. Over 500 vendors showcased handmade goods, including jewelry, headbands, and unique items like turkey calls made from exotic woods. Not Ya Granny Tent repurposed materials such as quilts and broken china, while Throwing Hands Pottery had to increase production due to high demand. Ham Jam is Saturday, Oct. 12, in Philadelphia
SUMMARY: Annette Watkins from Noxubee County discusses the upcoming 23rd annual Ham Jam Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 12, starting at 9 a.m. The festival features 49 arts and crafts vendors, eight food vendors, and a kids’ area with inflatables, snow cones, and face painting. A cornhole tournament and a 5K fundraiser for The Refuge, which supports adults with special needs, will also be held. Live entertainment will run throughout the day, concluding around 6:15 p.m., with free admission for attendees. Although the deadline for guaranteed T-shirt registration has passed, day-of registration for the run is still available.
