SUMMARY: Career Technical students in Winston County attended a Career Fair hosted by the Winston Louisville Career and Technology Center. This event allowed students from three different schools to explore training for skilled jobs and meet potential future employers from local companies such as Taylor Machine, Winston Plywood, and Polo Industries. The director of the Career and Technology Center emphasized the importance of students knowing about job opportunities close to home. This was the second year for the career center event. Overall, it provided students with the chance to see the jobs they were training for and explore different career avenues.
