Vote counting continues in Hinds County

SUMMARY: Robert Graham has been reelected as District One Supervisor with over 60% of the vote. Incumbent David Archie is currently behind challenger Anthony Smith by over 1,800 votes in District Two, making him the only supervisor to lose his seat during this election. District Three is heading towards a runoff as incumbent Credell Calhoun trails Deborah Butler Dixon, with neither candidate winning 50% of the vote. District Four Supervisor Vern Gavin has qualified for the runoff election by just four votes and will face off against Wanda Evers. District Five incumbent Bobby McGowan will compete against either Ashley Lloyd or Malcolm Johnson. The vote count and processing of absentee ballots in Hinds County is still ongoing.
