TVA Announces River Operations Update | October 1, 2024 | News 19 at 5 p.m.
SUMMARY: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has announced plans to aggressively manage water flow through the system this week due to excessive rainfall from Hurricane Helene in East Tennessee. Saraland elects new mayor, Joe McDonald

Prichard's mayoral ballot unclear ahead of runoff
SUMMARY: In Prichard’s mayoral race, businesswoman Carletta Davis secured a runoff spot with 951 votes.
