Ms. Betty awoke to shattering glass from intense winds hitting her bedroom window. Despite evident tornado damage along Pickle Road, no tornado warning was issued, leaving residents puzzled. Chief Meteorologist Issac Williams spotted tornadic debris around 4:40 am and questioned the NWS, which initially dismissed the evidence but agreed to review the radar data.
