Three men arrested after multiple law enforcement agencies led on two pursuits
SUMMARY: Three men were arrested in central Mississippi after two separate high-speed pursuits. The first incident involved a silver Chevrolet Silverado, reported stolen, which led to a chase and a brief foot pursuit, ending in the capture of 21-year-old JW Clayton III and the recovery of a rifle. A second chase ensued when a silver Honda Accord, driven by 20-year-old Anthony Demetric Thomas, also fled from police and was later abandoned. Thomas and the second occupant, Tyler Devon Myles, were eventually detained, with charges including felony fleeing, conspiracy, and aggravated assault on an officer.

SUMMARY: Ole Miss linebacker Tyler Banks has been named the 2025 Chucky Mullins Courage Award winner and will wear the No. 38 jersey in honor of Mullins. Banks, a senior from Virginia and three-year letterwinner, is the 35th recipient of the award, which honors Mullins, who was paralyzed during a 1989 game and passed away in 1991. Head coach Lane Kiffin praised Banks for his perseverance, leadership, and dedication on and off the field. Banks has played in all 39 games since 2022, mainly on special teams, and serves on the SEC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The award recognizes courage and determination.
