Three injured in separate Canton shootings
SUMMARY: Canton police are investigating two separate shootings injuring three men. The first shooting, occurring around 4:00 p.m. on May 27 on Harrington Drive, involved victims Dequan Williams and Kontavious Mack, who were shot multiple times while playing pool. The suspect, a Black male with a ski mask, remains unidentified. Both victims were transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) after initial treatment in Madison County. The second shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. at Cypress Meadow Apartments, involving 22-year-old Jeremy Anderson being shot in a drive-by. Anderson was also transported to UMMC. No suspects are identified.
