The search for Joseph Couch intensifies
SUMMARY: The manhunt for suspected Highway gunman Joseph Couch is entering its seventh day, prompting law enforcement to deepen their search in the Daniel Boone National Forest. State Police report that Exit 49 on I-75 has reopened, but they continue to patrol the area for new evidence. The search is complicated as Couch appears to be actively avoiding capture, making it challenging to locate someone who is hiding in such a vast area. Authorities have found no evidence suggesting he has left the region, and the reward for information leading to his arrest has increased to $35,000.
Law enforcement told FOX 56 that its search for Joseph Couch has expanded further into the Daniel Boone National Forest as the search enters day seven.
