New Orleans trash collectors litigate over removing foul French Quarter odors
SUMMARY: New Orleans’ French Quarter has been transformed by IV Waste, led by Sidney Torres IV, whose company has tackled longstanding trash and sanitation issues with daily power-washing and a lemon-scented cleaning formula. However, a legal battle has erupted after Mayor LaToya Cantrell decided to replace IV Waste with another firm, Henry Consulting, despite concerns about their preparedness and higher costs.
