The 2024 SWAC Football Schedule is out

SUMMARY: The 2024 SWAC football schedules were released, with Jackson State facing a tough season. They start on the road at Louisiana-Monroe, then play their first conference game against Southern at home, and go on a three-game road trip before taking on Alabama A&M in the Gulf Coast Classic. Alcorn State has a new head coach, Cedric Thomas, and faces Mississippi Valley in their first conference game. The SWAC championship is set for December 7. A high-pressure system will move in by Thursday, bringing well-above-average temperatures. Heat indices may reach 107–110 degrees by Friday, especially west of I-55 in Mississippi.
