SUMMARY: Cantoria Holley, a JROTC senior cadet at Callaway High School, received a surprise full ride scholarship to Alcorn State University, the state’s oldest HBCU. Brigadier General Amanda Azubuike surprised Holley with the scholarship, presenting her with a check for nearly $62,000. Holley expressed her excitement and plans to continue her career at Alcorn State, where she will join the ROTC program and participate in drill team and color guard. She is looking forward to her next steps in life at Alcorn State and is eager to see how she will progress and contribute to the university.
