Stokes wants potholes fixed around JSU

SUMMARY: Councilman Kenneth Stokes is concerned about the of the roads in Jackson, Mississippi, especially in the area surrounding Jackson (JSU). He believes that the 1% sales tax collected for projects, roads, should be used to fix these roads. Stokes argues that it is not fair that some neighborhoods are being overlooked while others are receiving attention. Stokes suggests that the public works department should at least patch up the potholes before the game.

WTVA’s Fall Senior Health Fair sees big turnout
