Still no arrests made in Club Oasis shooting investigation
SUMMARY: Witnesses and some victims of the Club Oasis shooting in West Point may be subpoenaed to testify, as there have been no arrests made almost a month after the incident. The Clay County Sheriff has mentioned that the district attorney has suspended several people to testify before the grand jury. County supervisors are planning to implement new ordinances regarding club security, such as updating security cameras. Despite having an idea of what happened, authorities need witnesses to come forward in order to make an arrest. Those withholding information risk facing legal consequences.
